Logtitech, Genius, Serioux, same poor sound quality (a couple 2.0 speakers from Genius might do the trick for low budgets, but there are better speakers out there). If music is the priority, then I would recommend considering a 2.0 set. If you are a bass addict or your music preferences point toward mainly bassy sounds, a 2.1 set might satisfy your needs. On the other hand, sound-wise, a 2.0 is better than a 2.1.
A nice little pair of speakers are the Creative GigaWorks T20, great for small sized rooms and for near-field listening. If you need bigger speakers, suitable for small to medium sized rooms, Microlab B77 offer some good linear sound, decent ammount of bass and clean highs (the mids are a bit recessed when compared with Creative's, but above any Logitech and so on). Finally, if you desperately need that bassy box of a subwoofer, the Trust Tytan is the best choice for the money. It is in your best interest to test these speakers before buying them.

Are we going to speak english for the rest of this topic? Well, all right. Let's see...First of all, you did not mention the purpose of your audio set, and that is a paramount information. Because now I have to assume what it is going to be used for. So, to cover both fronts, I am frankly and subjectively as possible telling you that for music, a 5.1 set has no use (mainly due to the fact that 90% of all recorded music is stereo). Nevertheless, if you are seeking for a set that is going to be used mostly for movies and games, then a 5.1 set might make sense, obviously because of the surround effects that it can create. Secondly, both those sets have a terrible built quality and they would serve their purpose only in movies and games. The only good thing about them is their price, because if you are looking for a 5.1 set for movies and games, the low price makes them a decent buy (although, depending on the budget, there are definetely better alternatives). Given the aforementioned statemets, I believe that I supported my answer with valid arguments. Moreover, if you need a reccomandation, please specify your budget, the purpose of the speaker system, and whether or not you have a dedicated sound card.

I need a system just for games and music...if you think both those sets are terrible, what do you think about Logitech z323 or z313? By the way my budget is around 280-300 ron

Well, although I believe I covered all ranges and sound preferences, I am quite curious what are you looking for in a speaker set?

| coztel5437 explică:

I'm looking for a 2.1 set, at least W to 160W max...

| coztel5437 explică (pentru coztel5437):

*at least 50W

You know that you cannot tell how loud a speaker can go just by the wattage specs right? That being said, I can add that all the numbers you see in sepcifications are misleading (it's called marketing). Wattage is just a reference point for beginners as they think more is better. I can debate this subject for another couple of pages, but I would rather just resume at a basic level given the fact that I reckon you are not likely to apprehend a more demanding discussion. A more significant spec that is often overlooked is the SPL (sound pressure level), which should ring a bell in any person's mind - because it is decibels you are hearing and not watts. Regarding the outcome of your buy, I deem that is your job to conclude either on what I have told you, or on the delusive - but otherwise clever - marketing strategies.
