Past perfect simple : Se formeaza cu verbul auxiliar "had" + participiul verbului de conjugat. iti dau niste exemple : You had studied English before you moved to New York. sau. had never seen such a beautiful beach before I went to Kauai.

participiul verbului este a 3-a coloana din lista de verbe neregulate : exemplu :
Infinitive : (to) go
past simple : went
past participle : gone.

Past perfect continious este aproape acelasi lucru cu past perfect simple dar se adauga auxiliarul to be si terminatia "-ing" la verb
forma: had been+ present + ing
exemple : You had been waiting there for more than two hours when she finally arrived. sau. How long had you been waiting to get on the bus?
