International Women's Day was celebrated for the first time on 8 March 1975 by the UN General Assembly
In this period seriously considered eliminating discrimination against women and ensure equal conditions for full social life.
As a result, UNO proclaimed the year 1975 as the International Year of Women, and was proclaimed 1976-1985 the United Nations Decade women.
